Print | PDFLate last month, Professor Andrew Tanentzap of Trent University gave the keynote address at our World Water Day Conference. Tanentzap is a Canada Research Chair in Climate Change and Northern Ecosystems, with his research exploring the microscopic interactions between carbon, organic molecules and microbes.
His keynote focused on how ultra-high resolution mass spectrometry can be used to resolve complex mixtures, identify new toxicants, and gain insight into the sources of pollution.
This address was part of our broader World Water Day Conference, a yearly event highlighting the water research being conducted at Laurier. Other standout features from this year's event include a panel centered on the UN theme of Water and Gender, hosted in collaboration with WinS.
